I should probably put it in this summary

Re:

On paper and in theory everything looks pretty good here in the Netherlands. But exploiting the system has become so ingrained it has become pathological. The final piece is still missing, and one of the cabinet parties (D66) have killed that too, namely the referendum.

The current Dutch government is like a car that has been run off the track by the designated drivers, and they tossed the handbrake (referendum) out of the window out of spite because they didn't like their passengers warning them about dangers on the oncoming path the last time.

Re:

It happens here, too.

Re: Bye nginx, hello Caddyserver!

Still running on Caddy, but I might just move it to ipfs in the future.

Re: Some thoughts on Agile/Scrum…

Fair comment. In an environment where Agile is implemented well, the retro is next to the standup the most valuable. My only complaint is that it shouldn't be treated as a time consuming meeting to discuss technical issues in depth (where I worked that often happened), which should be done during a refinement, and refinements shouldn't have to involve the whole squad.

Also, my workplace worked with the Spotify model, so no scrum master. All traditional scrum master tasks were done by the squad itself.

Re: Some thoughts on Agile/Scrum…

I've read your comments. Rigidity is something Scrum tries to counteract. So if there is a lot of rigidity in one or more aspects of the team doing Scrum, this is something the Scrum master (and the team) should recognize and react to. This is why the Sprint retrospective is so important. Inspect and Adapt, not only the product itself, but also the way the team interacts.

Re: Nope, everyone is still bonkers.

The fact that I don't care to interact with the idiots on social media anymore doesn't mean I should disable sharing to them.
